Slow-Cooker Cheese Dip

This was a dish that my friend Annie gave me. It is unbelievably tasty (though probably not real good for you). ;-)

Slow-Cooker Cheese Dip

Ingredients:
2lbs ground beef
1 lb Velveeta
4 cans Rotel tomatoes
16oz mild Pace Picante sauce

Directions:
- Brown beef and put in slow cooker with tomatoes.
- Cut up Velveeta and mix in with beef and tomatoes.
- Cook on low for 2 hours (or 1 1/2 hours for a half batch).
- Mix picante sauce in gradually.
- Let stand for a few minutes (the congeal factor).

Note: This makes quite a bit of dip. I often halve this recipe for smaller groups - though it does make pretty good leftover. Also, I'll sometimes cook it on high for a half-hour or so, just to make sure everything melts.
